Vanessa Quintero Castañeda

Vanessa Quintero Castañeda is a Colombian visual artist. Her training includes studies in Fine Arts in Colombia and a Master’s degree in Photographic Design in Mexico. In her photographic work, she investigates absence, mourning, and the African diaspora, constructing narratives that move between the intimate and the collective. Her work has been exhibited in Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, and the United States. She also develops her work as a teacher and researcher, articulating creation and critical reflection within the field of contemporary image-making.
