Emma Hartvig

Emma Hartvig (b. 1990, Sweden) is an artist recognized for her striking photographic explorations of femininity, intimacy, and identity. Her work, deeply influenced by cinematic and theatrical elements, examines the interplay between solitude and connection—capturing moments that blur the line between the private and the public self. Her work has been exhibited in Milan, Vienna, London, and Bratislava, with upcoming solo shows in the U.S. in 2025. Hartvig’s photography has been featured in L'Oeil de la Photographie, Musée Magazine, Fisheye Magazine, Die Zeit, AnOther Magazine, among others.
