Anne Skoogfors

Anne Skoogfors is an American artist and photographer who works with a scanner and camera to capture images that express her fascination and love for flowers. Inspired by the botanical images of Mark Catesby, Robert John Thornton, and the barrier-breaking rayographs of Man Ray, she merged her fine art background with an interest in photographic technology. Skoogfors has a degree in the fine arts from Chestnut Hill College, Philadelphia PA. Her work has been featured in exhibits in the USA, Europe, and China, and is in the permanent collection in the Philadelphia Art Museum.
